Enterprise Florida Export Trade Mission to Argentina

Organized by Enterprise Florida, the official economic development organization for the state of Florida.

With a population of 41.5 million people and a GDP of approximately $609 billion, Argentina offers excellent opportunities for Florida companies interested in increasing their footprint in the Southern Cone. The United States is Argentina’s third largest trading partner. U.S. goods and services trade with Argentina totaled an estimated $22.4 billion in 2015; making Argentina the U.S.’s 28th largest goods export market in 2015. Argentina is also Florida’s fourth largest export destination with an estimated $3.3 billion worth of exports in 2015. The Argentine market poses promising opportunities for Florida companies due to the recent change in political leadership that has adopted a pro-business approach for the country. The newly elected President, Mauricio Macri, has already implemented several pieces of legislation that allow Argentine importers an easier process to buy foreign goods. Florida companies are well-positioned to benefit from these opportunities.
