UPDATE 9/16/17, 12 p.m.:
Port of Key West is now open. This makes all Florida seaports open following Hurricane Irma closures. Some restrictions may apply.

UPDATE 9/15/17, 11 a.m.:
More restrictions lifted on ports, with many now fully operational. Port of Key West remains closed.

UPDATE 9/14/17, 10 a.m.:
Restrictions continue to be lifted on open ports as it becomes safe to resume operations. Fuel distribution continues to be a priority. Cruise operations continue to resume, with some restrictions. Port of Key West remains closed.

UPDATE 9/13/17, 4 p.m.:
Open (restrictions may apply): Port Everglades, PortMiami, Port of Palm Beach, Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay, Port Manatee, Port Tampa Bay, Port St. Pete, Port of Ft. Pierce, JAXPORT, Port of Fernandina, Port of Panama City, Port of Pensacola

Cargo and cruise operations around the state are resuming, some restrictions may apply. Fuel tankers and trucks continue to move with escorts on the road from Florida Highway Patrol.

UPDATE 9/12/17, 10 p.m.: Port of Panama City and Port Everglades are now open. Seven oil tankers discharging in Florida; three at Port Everglades, three at Port Tampa Bay, one at Port Canaveral. Florida Highway Patrol is escorting fuel trucks to stations for expedited distribution. Note at some ports fuel storage tanks were full the entire duration of Hurricane Irma; the refueling of trucks and operations were suspended for only a short time because of the physical hurricane itself.

UPDATE 9/12/17, 6 p.m.: Port Tampa Bay, Port Canaveral and Port of Panama City are now open, but restrictions may apply.

UPDATE 9/12/17, 1 p.m.: The U.S. Coast Guard has set the following port conditions:
PortMiami, Port of Pensacola and Port Everglades are already open, but restrictions may apply. More ports are expected to open later today and tomorrow, including Port Tampa Bay. Note the status of ports statewide is continually evolving; however, landside operations are open at many ports and fuel is on its way to gas stations.

We are thankful for Governor Scott’s leadership during Hurricane Irma and the amazing efforts of port workers and administration, the U.S. Coast Guard, Florida Highway Patrol, port tenants (including gas and cruise companies), trucking companies, state and federal agency partners, and many others. The partnership and cooperation of all parties resulted in the unprecedented speed of port openings and fuel distribution. Our thoughts are with all Floridians and businesses as they recover from Hurricane Irma.

UPDATE 9/11/17, 12 p.m.: The U.S. Coast Guard has set the following port conditions:
Zulu: Port of Key West, Port Everglades, PortMiami, Port of Palm Beach, Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay, Port Manatee, Port Tampa Bay, Port St. Pete, Port of Ft. Pierce, JAXPORT, Port of Fernandina, Port of Panama City
Yankee: Port of Pensacola
Ports are assessing damage and will reopen following approval from the U.S. Coast Guard. Some terminals are operational, ports are ready to deliver fuel, have fuel in reserves and fuel ships ready to come to port. We anticipate fuel deliveries to resume quickly and are encouraged additional operations will be back online soon as well.

UPDATE 9/7/17, 2 p.m.: Florida seaports are working to assist Governor Scott in the expedited distribution of fuel in preparation for Hurricane Irma. There are currently multiple fuel ships headed to and docked at Florida ports. Fuel distribution is being expedited at all phases of delivery – Governor Scott has arranged for military vessels to escort the ships to the docks and law enforcement escort of fuel trucks to stations. Florida seaports will continue to work with all local, state and federal partners to ensure the prompt delivery of fuel across the state, both prior to and after the storm.

All Florida seaports are currently open and operational. The U.S. Coast Guard has set the following ports at port condition X-ray: Port of Key West, PortMiami, Port Everglades, Port of Palm Beach, Port of Ft. Pierce and Port Canaveral; and the following ports are at port condition Whiskey: JAXPORT and Port of Fernandina.
