Disney Treasure to Debut at Port Canaveral in 2024
Disney Cruise Line’s newest addition, the Disney Treasure, will make its grand debut at Port Canaveral in December 2024, marking a historic moment as it joins Disney’s prestigious fleet. This highly anticipated new ship will set sail from Port Canaveral with a variety of captivating itineraries in both the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Treasure’s inaugural voyage is set for December 21, 2024.
Port Canaveral will be home to not just one but three Disney Cruise Line ships, including its sister ship, the Disney Wish, and the beloved Disney Fantasy. The Treasure promises a unique cruise experience with a wealth of themed restaurants and attractions inspired by timeless Disney stories.
The Disney Treasure is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, and will be powered by eco-friendly liquefied natural gas, LNG.
“The Treasure’s itineraries from Port Canaveral will include stops at one of Disney’s two private islands in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay, or the newly added Eleuthera at Lighthouse Point, starting from June 2024,” Thomas Mazloum, President of the New Experiences Portfolio and Disney Signature Experiences.
With a passenger capacity of 4,000 and a crew of 1,555, the Treasure is poised to deliver an unforgettable journey for all on board.
