MSC Re-Introduces Port Everglades for Two Services
Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has issued a port rotation change for two of its services that re-introduces Port Everglades as a weekly call beginning in November.
The shipping line’s re-imagined EMUSA service that travels from the Mediterranean to the U.S. is expected to call Port Everglades on a fixed weekly schedule. The first call was on November 5 with the MSC Dorine.
Port Everglades is also the only Florida stop for MSC’s U.S.A. to east coast of South America (SAEC) service. The MSC Cadiz began calling on November 11.
According to MSC’s press release, the U.S.A. to SAEC rotation was revised to “maintain schedule reliability.”
With the weekly services, consumers in South Florida and beyond can expect a variety of imports and exports from ceramic tiles and spirits to lumber and steel products.
