Additional COVID-19 Relief Funding for Small Cities and Entitlement Units
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity recently announced the availability of funding for Small Cities and Entitlement units of local government under the Florida Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) program. The CDBG-CV program is designed to help local governments prepare for, prevent, or respond to the health and economic impacts of COVID-19, and the activities must be critical to their locality and primarily for the benefit of low- and moderate-income residents.
The CDBG-CV Small Cities program has $41,931,595 available for small city local governments, and the CDBG-CV Entitlement program has $51,050,910 for Entitlement municipalities or counties.
