2015 Florida-Korea Summit

This summit program connects business, government, economic development, and tourism and education leaders with the very top officials of Korea government and companies interested in expanding ties with the state and the host city of Tampa. Mr. Bill Johnson, Florida Secretary of Commerce & President/CEO of Enterprise Florida will make opening keynote remarks at this year’s summit. Secretary Johnson previously served as director of the Port of Miami, which has a sister port relationship with the Port of Busan, Korea, has visited Korea and participated in past FLOR/KOR events and meetings. This year’s summit is presented in partnership with Enterprise Florida, The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and Port Tampa Bay and with additional support from the Korea Trade Center – Miami (KOTRA), the Tampa Bay Trade & Protocol Council, Hillsborough County Government, the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation and World Trade Center Miami. This important statewide gathering of Florida-Korea business and community event provides a unique opportunity for businesses to network with leading Korean companies.
