‘Recycling On The Go’ at Port Canaveral
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has officially proclaimed November 14-18 as “Florida Recycles Week,” and Port Canaveral is doing its part by hosting “Recycling On The Go” at Jetty Park this Wednesday, November 16.
Florida Recycles Week is held in conjunction with America Recycles Day to raise awareness about actions individuals can take to increase recycling habits and reduce waste. During this week, and throughout the year, we encourage taking the recycling pledge to “Learn, Act and Share” to support recycling.
During Florida Recycles Week daily events will be held to provide educational opportunities on where and what to recycle, strategies for recycling when away from home and how to close the loop by buying products made with recycled content.
