Rep. Jay Trumbull Receives ‘Seaport Champion Award’
The Florida Ports Council recently presented the Seaport Champion Award to Representative Jay Trumbull for his leadership and commitment to Florida’s seaports.
“Florida seaports lost an estimated 169,000 jobs and nearly $23 billion in economic activity through 2020. Thanks to support from the Florida Legislature and Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida’s seaports saw critical pandemic financial relief to help mitigate these ongoing economic impacts,” said Michael Rubin, President and CEO, Florida Ports Council.
The Seaport Champion Award was presented during a statewide Florida Ports Council meeting taking place in Panama City, Florida.
