Governor DeSantis signs budget
Governor DeSantis signed the 2019-2020 budget today, and vetoed approximately $131 million of individual member projects.
We are pleased to note that the Governor highlighted “record-setting seaports” in his budget highlight statement on investment in infrastructure and workforce. See statement here.
The Governor’s $160.8 million for seaport infrastructure also includes $2 million for FSTED Seaport Security Grants. The FSTED Council will be reviewing and approving security grant applications during the August FSTED Council meeting.
